Setup

The Setup tab of a site's Monitoring section (formerly Configuration) allows you to manage real-time monitoring for a specific website. From here, you can install the tracking script, check its live status, and pause or resume scanning. (The accessibility statement has moved to the site overview — see Accessibility Statement.) It is available to admins and power users.

The tab is laid out as a three-step guide — 1. Add the script to your site, 2. Open your site to confirm, 3. See your first results — followed by the Monitoring switch. Completed steps are marked with a check. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see Monitoring Setup.

Status

The status in step 2 shows whether real-time monitoring is currently active for your website.

  • Live – The tracking script is installed correctly and accessibility data is being received.

  • Waiting for first visit – No data is being received. This may indicate that the script is not installed, has been removed, or the site is not currently being accessed.

  • Paused – The script is installed, but monitoring has been paused.

Note: After installing the tracking script for the first time, it may take up to one hour for the site to be marked as active and for initial results to appear. While data is collected in real time, statistics are aggregated hourly.

Pause Monitoring

Use the Monitoring switch to temporarily pause real-time monitoring for the site without removing the tracking script. Turning it off asks you to confirm with Pause monitoring.

When monitoring is paused:

  • No new accessibility data is collected
  • The script can remain installed on the website
  • Monitoring can be resumed at any time by turning the switch back on

Tracking Code

Step 1 provides the script required to enable real-time monitoring.

You can install the tracking script using one of the available methods:

  • Paste into <head> – Copy and paste the script into the <head> of every page you want to monitor

  • Google Tag Manager – Add the script in GTM as a new Custom HTML tag that fires on all pages

Click Copy code to copy the script, or Email it to my developer to send it to the person who maintains your site. The script is asynchronous and does not block page loading.

Content Security Policy (CSP)

If your website uses a Content Security Policy (CSP), you must whitelist our wildcard domain to ensure the script, API, and Dev Assistant function correctly. Expand Does your site use a Content Security Policy (CSP)? in step 1 to see the directives.

Please follow our CSP Configuration guide for detailed instructions on whitelisting https://*.qualibooth.com.
