Accessibility Statement
Generate a public-facing accessibility statement for any of your websites, ready to publish on the site itself.
Navigate to:
Sites → (your site) → Accessibility Statement in the sidebar, or scroll to the Accessibility Statement card on the site overview.
Where the statement takes its results from
A statement is based on one accessibility result for the site. Under Will use:, pick the source:
- Real-Time Scanning – based on continuous monitoring of the pages your visitors load. Available while real-time monitoring is active. When both sources are available, this one is preselected and marked (Recommended).
- Latest scheduled scan – based on the most recent scheduled scan that produced a score, across all of the site's scans. The card shows which scan it was, when it ran and how many pages it covers. No tracking script is needed, so you can publish a statement from scheduled scanning alone.
If the site has neither a real-time result nor a completed scheduled scan, the card asks you to set up Real-Time Scanning or run a scan first.
Generating the statement
Click Generate statement. The statement opens in a dialog and includes:
- The current accessibility score from the selected source
- The WCAG standard it is measured against (WCAG 2.1 or 2.2, Level AA or AAA — based on your scanning rules)
- Your commitment to accessibility, the measures you take and how the site is monitored
