Your First Accessibility Scan

This guide will walk you through adding your first website and running your initial accessibility scan with Agora.

Before You Begin

Ensure you have:

  • ✅ Agora installed and running
  • ✅ Successfully authenticated with your QualiBooth account
  • ✅ Active Agora license
  • ✅ Admin or Power User role (required to add websites)

Step 1: Add Your First Website

From the Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Dashboard: After logging in, you'll see the main dashboard
  2. Click "Add Website": Look for the "+ Add Website" button or card
  3. Fill Website Details:
    • Display Name: A friendly name for your website (e.g., "Company Homepage")
    • Website Name: Technical identifier (usually the domain name)
    • URL: The main URL to test (e.g., https://example.com)
    • Sitemap URL (optional): URL to your XML sitemap for automatic page discovery

Website Configuration

Display Name vs Website Name:

  • Display Name: What you see in the interface ("Company Homepage")
  • Website Name: Internal identifier, usually the domain ("example.com")

URL Requirements:

  • Should be the main entry point for your website
  • Must be accessible from the internet or your network

Sitemap URL Benefits:

  • Automatically discovers all pages on your website
  • Enables bulk scanning of multiple pages
  • Keeps your page list updated as your site changes

Example Configuration

Display Name: My Company Website
URL: https://www.mycompany.com
Sitemap URL: https://www.mycompany.com/sitemap.xml

Step 2: Import Pages (Optional)

If you provided a sitemap URL, Agora can automatically import pages:

Automatic Sitemap Import

  1. Click "Fetch URLs": This button is located after you navigate to Website Details view from the dashboard
  2. Monitor Progress: You'll see a progress indicator as pages are discovered
  3. Review Results: See how many pages were found and imported

Manual Page Addition

If you don't have a sitemap or want to test specific pages:

  1. Go to Website Details: Click on your newly added website
  2. Navigate to URLs Tab: Switch to the "URLs" tab
  3. Click "Add URL": Use the "+ Add URL" button
  4. Enter Page URL: Add the specific page you want to test

Page Import Tips

  • Start Small: For your first scan, consider testing just a few key pages
  • Include Variety: Test homepage, content pages, forms, and interactive features
  • Check Accessibility: Ensure test pages represent your site's accessibility challenges

Step 3: Configure Basic Settings

Before running your first scan, review these settings:
