Authentication
Agora uses secure single sign-on (SSO) authentication through the QualiBooth Portal. This guide explains how to log in, manage your session, and troubleshoot authentication issues.
How Authentication Works
Agora uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols for secure authentication:
- SSO Integration: Your QualiBooth Portal account credentials work across all QualiBooth applications
- Secure Tokens: Authentication uses encrypted tokens that automatically refresh
- Organization Context: Your authentication determines which organizations and websites you can access
- Role-Based Access: Your permissions (Admin, Power User, User) are enforced automatically
Signing In
First-Time Login
- Launch Agora: Open the application from your desktop or applications folder
- Click "Login": You'll see the Agora login screen with a "Login" button
- Browser Window: A secure browser window will open to the QualiBooth Portal
- Enter Credentials: Use your QualiBooth Portal email and password
- Automatic Redirect: You'll be returned to Agora and be logged in with your account
Subsequent Logins
If you've logged in before and your session is still valid:
- Agora will automatically authenticate you without requiring credentials
- Sessions typically last 30 days before requiring re-authentication
Organization and Role Management
After authentication, Agora determines your access based on:
Organization Membership
- Single Organization: You'll be automatically signed into your organization
- Multiple Organizations: By default it will pre-select your first organization in the list
- Switching Organizations: Use the organization selector in the top-right corner
Role Permissions

| Admin | Full access: add/delete websites, manage settings, view all data |
| Power User | Can add websites, modify settings, export reports |
| User | View-only access to assigned websites and results |
Session Management
Manual Logout
To log out manually:
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
- Select "Logout" from the dropdown menu
Automatic Logout
You'll be automatically logged out if:
- Your session expires after 30 days of inactivity
- Your license is revoked or expires
- Network connectivity issues prevent token refresh
Troubleshooting Authentication
"License Required" Error
If you see a license screen after successful authentication:
- Check License Status: Contact your administrator to verify you have an active Agora license
- Organization Issues: Ensure you're in the correct organization
- Account Sync: Wait a few minutes for license changes to propagate
Authentication Fails
If login doesn't work:
- Verify Credentials: Ensure you're using the correct QualiBooth Portal email and password
- Reset Password: Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page
- Clear Cache: Close Agora completely and restart
- Check Network: Ensure you have internet connectivity
Browser Window Issues
If the authentication browser has problems:
- Stuck Loading: Close the browser window and try again
- SSL Errors: Ensure your system date/time is correct
- Pop-up Blocked: Check your system's pop-up blocker settings
"Auth Browser Closed" Message
If you see this message:
- You or the system closed the authentication browser before completing login
- Simply click "Login" again to restart the authentication process
Network and Security
Required Connectivity
Agora needs internet access for:
- Initial authentication with QualiBooth Portal
- License verification and renewal
- AI-powered features (if you have an AI license)
- Automatic updates
Firewall Configuration
If you're behind a corporate firewall, ensure these domains are accessible:
*.qualibooth.com- Main application services*.googleapis.com- Cloud services integration
Security Features
- Encrypted Communication: All data transmission uses TLS encryption
- Token Security: Authentication tokens are encrypted and stored securely
- No Password Storage: Agora never stores your password locally
- Automatic Expiry: Tokens automatically expire for security
Multi-User Environments
Shared Computers
On shared computers:
- Always log out when finished using Agora
- Each user must authenticate with their own credentials
- Scan data is tied to the authenticated user's organization
