Overview
Auto update settings are global application preferences that apply across all websites and scanning operations. These settings help you stay current with the latest Agora releases while maintaining control over when and how updates are installed.
Accessing Auto Update Settings
- From Dashboard: Click the gear/settings icon in the top navigation bar
- Navigate to Updates Tab: Select the "Updates" tab in the settings dialog
- Configure Options: Adjust your update preferences and check application information
Update Checking
Check Interval
Configure how frequently Agora checks for new updates:
Daily (Recommended)
- Check for updates every day
- Ensures you receive security patches quickly
- Default setting for most users
- Minimal impact on application performance
Weekly
- Check for updates once per week
- Suitable for stable environments
- Reduces update notification frequency

Manual Update Check
Use the manual check option to immediately verify if updates are available:

- Chrome Version: Embedded browser engine version used for scanning
- Platform: Operating system and architecture details
- Node.js Version: Runtime environment version
